It's Time to Vote!

It is time to vote in the referendum on the Dobwalls and Trewidland Neighbourhood Development Plan.


The referendum, organised by Cornwall Council, will be held on Thursday, April 4 2024 and the polling stations in Dobwalls Memorial Hall and Trewidland Village Hall will be open from 7.00am to 10.00pm.


Anyone who is on the electoral register for the Parish of Dobwalls and the Trewidland Ward of the Parish of St Keyne and Trewidland is entitled to vote.


Don't forget to bring your photographic identification with or you won't be allowed to vote! (please see the home page)


The referendum question is:

Do you want Cornwall Council to use the neighbourhood plan for Dobwalls and Trewidland to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?


If a majority vote in favour then the plan will be adopted by Cornwall Council and become part of the Council's Development Plan. The Neighbourhood Development Plan contents and policies will be referred to when the council considers planning applications in the plan area.
