October 2019

Further local exhibition days were held in Dobwalls, Doublebois and Trewidland.  These events were to show the proposed plan policies, objectives and Parish projects and to review the developing Landscape Character Statement research for the parish and the Greenspace considerations for Dobwalls and Trewidland.

Public roadshow exhition days were held at the Trewidland Village Hall and the Dobwalls Hall

2017 - Key events

NDP information was displayed at a number of events during 2017, these included summer events at the Parish schools and the Dobwalls Beer Festival held at The Highwayman.

Information was also displayed at Christmas events held in both village halls.

Autumn 2017

A number of awareness raising sessions were carried out with several community groups from the Parish

March 2017

An initial questionnaire was circulated to all households within the Parish

Spring 2017

The Dobwalls and Trewidland Neighbourhood Development Plan Steering Group was formed to the lead the process.  The group comprises of Parish Council representatives and residents of the parish.  It was led by the Parish Council Chair, co-ordinated by a Parish Councillor and supported by the Parish Clerk.

September and November 2016

Three  public meetings with held in the Parish at Dobwalls and Trewidland

June and September 2016

Articles were placed in the Parish magazine in the months of June and September to inform the Parish about the Neighbourhood Development Plan.

How it all began

In February and April 2016, presentations were given by the Leader of the St Cleer Neighbourhood Plan and the Liskeard and Looe Community Network link officer to the Dobwalls and Trewidland Parish Council
